Common Questions
Things people usually ask.
How does pricing actually work?
Each tier shows a range so you can see where you fit. After a free
discovery call, I'll give you a plain-English proposal — a fixed
price for Ideas that Work, a monthly retainer for Advice that Works,
or a contract for Teams that Work — agreed before anything starts.
No hourly tracking, no scope creep surprises.
What if my project doesn't fit one of these tiers?
The ranges overlap on purpose — a $10K spend could be a fixed
project, the start of a monthly retainer, or a short contract
depending on what you actually need. We'll figure out together which
engagement model fits how you want to work.
What's the difference between Advice that Works and Teams that Work?
Advice that Works is strategic guidance — structured sessions where
we think through problems, evaluate options, and build the roadmap
together. Teams that Work is fractional leadership — I'm actively
running your technology, platform, or product strategy, leading your
team, and owning the outcomes. Advice is partnership at the table;
Teams is leadership in the seat.
Can I start with one tier and move to another later?
That's one of the most natural progressions. Many clients start with
Ideas that Work to see how I work and get something real done, then
move to Advice that Works once they realize how valuable it is to
have ongoing access to someone who knows their business deeply.
Do you work with businesses outside of Texas?
Yes — most of my work happens remotely. I'm based in the Dallas area
but work with business owners across the country. For Teams that
Work engagements that need more in-person presence, we can discuss
what makes sense.
What industries do you work with?
Primarily small and mid-size businesses across a wide range of
industries — retail, services, healthcare, education, logistics,
supply chain, and more. The common thread isn't industry; it's
leaders and owners who want to use technology better without the
overhead of a large tech team.
